Delete My Account
If you want to permanently delete your Capito AI account and data, follow the steps below. The deletion process cannot be undone.
Step-by-Step Account Deletion

Send an email to the support team
Send an email to support@getcapito.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Verify your identity
In your email, specify your registered email address and name. Identity verification will be performed for your security.

Confirm the request
Our support team will send you a confirmation email. Confirm the request by replying to this email.

Process completed
Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 business days. You can cancel it within this period.
Deleted and Retained Data
✅ Data permanently deleted when the account is deleted:
- Profile information (name, email, photo)
- All uploaded materials (PDFs, notes, links)
- AI-generated content (summaries, quizzes, maps)
- Study plans and progress records
- Subscription and payment history (excluding Stripe record)
- Support requests and message history
⏳ Data temporarily stored due to legal obligation:
- • Invoice and payment records — Retained for 10 years from the deletion date as required by tax legislation (TTK No. 6102, VUK No. 213)
- • Security and breach logs — Stored for 2 years under legal requirements
- • Anonymized usage statistics — May be stored indefinitely for statistical purposes in a way that cannot be associated with your personal data
When the retention periods expire, these data are also permanently destroyed. All data is protected by AES-256 encryption. For questions, you can write to privacy@getcapito.com.
